I absolutely love photography, and of all the places that I have been that have stood out as amazing photo opportunities – Blizzcon stands head and shoulders above the crowd.
Blizzard has these massive statues of many of the characters from their games. They are ridiculously detailed, have a ton of character, and are just plain fun to look at and shoot. The industrial ambience from the convention hall and overall lighting helped these turn out really solid in my opinion – the hardest part was simply timing the shots and picking angles that wouldn’t have a ton of convention attendees in frame.
Also included are a few shots of my daughter when she was younger because I promised her I’d include her on this site. 😛 She loves the idea that she’s on the internet now. Lol.
